Post your nursery room pics!

Just found out I'm going to be a dad around the middle of 2008! I'm excited, and I want to redo one of the spare rooms in my house and make it into a nursery.

I've spent most of the morning looking at pictures of designer nurseries online, but they all seem so polished off and posh. I was hoping people could post their nurseries/kids room pics so that we could share ideas and suggestions.

Congratulations mate! I just finished painting the nursery this weekend for our soon to arrive wee-one in the early part of next year.

Hmmmm....that is heavy, and not for everyone! I hope you lot aren't planning to sell soon eh? :D

just a tip - try to get a neutral theme, or one that can be altered easily (i.e. those peel-off stickers of winnie the pooh, etc.) i'm not a parent, but as a child i absolutely hated my room by the time i was 5 yrs old, because i thought it was too baby-ish for me. and my dad didn't get around to redecorating my room until i was 14 years old.
so unless you really like decorating and don't mind doing it a few years down the road again, then stick to something that will still be appropriate as they age a little.
