Air Canada Group Rates

Anyone booked a group rate through Air Canada before? What type of discounts do they usually offer? Are those discounts on top of seat sales, or will it be better just to book whenever the price drops?

Have a group of 10-14 going to Vegas next month, just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this before I checked with the airline.

5% off lowest advertised fare. However, in my experience, cheapest fares are often on weekends when the group office is closed.

So that 5% off wouldn't apply to weekends?

Would it only apply to Tango Plus fares, or could it apply to Tango fares as well? I assume it's a similar deal with Westjet?
