This is a valid question but I've gotta lol @ the people that must have not read the rules. There's like 5 of us that actually read that one apparently. :cheesygri

also, it says on the front page of the forum "time to creat your wish list from the hot boxing day deals". Does that mean it has to be from the "hot deals" section at ncix, or can it be from anywhere on the website?

I have a question, it says two winners will be pick to get one of 4 NCIX 500 dollar gift cards.

So does this mean 2 winners get one of 4 500 dollar gift card or there is going to be 4 winners?

Yes, I saw that too. Is there going to be 4 winners or two? What will happen to the other 2 gift cards that aren't used?

To clarify, judging by Ryan's example, we CAN use the Surprise Specials as well?

Does that mean we can dig up those high-demand items that sold out quickly?

And I didn't see any in the example, but I'm assuming we can also use the non-Surprise Specials?

Edit:

2. The Boxing Week Wish List must be created in a new thread in the forum entitled "NCIX Boxing Week 2007 Wish List Contest"

Though somewhat ambiguous, I'm pretty sure they are referring to the title of this forum (hence why this forum is called the "NCIX Boxing Week 2007 Wish List Contest"), not the thread title.

If I win the $500, am I obligated to buy what is in my wishlist? Can I buy whatever I want - different items?
I am saying this because I just basically copied someone else's wishlist so I would save some time.

Typo in the rules. There will be 4 winners.

You can use surprise specials.

One entry per household please.

You might *think* you read the rules, but must have failed English...

you can title your wishlist anything you want...but you post it in the "NCIX Boxing Week 2007 Wish List Contest" Thread (ie, you post here)....not in a reply, not in another forum, etc...

My guess is you should take the price before the MIR, because you'd be paying that much up front; rebate should be the buyer's own responsibility.

Not trying to be overly paranoid or anything, but #3 of the General Rules has me slightly concerned.

3. By entering the contest, the winners consent to the use without payment of their name, address, and/or photograph and any publicity, advertising or promotion carried out by RedFlagDeals.com and/or its advertising & promotional agencies.

Does that mean the winners have their home addresses plastered for all the internet to see?

No, at most it would be name and city, they are not going to say

"The winner lives at 123 Fake St. in Brantford, Ontario if you want to go there and beat him up for his GC"

Dude, it's a $500 GC. With a GC, you can purchase anything. And are you really that lazy to copy someone else's wishlist? It's not like there is a tight deadline ROFL!

You can use surprise specials.

Does the surprise special price have to be active at the time of posting, or can it be a boxing week special whose price is no longer in effect?

For example, you've got the Q6600 at $249.99, but at this time it is $264.99. Can new postings still use the $249.99 price?

Not sure I agree with "anywhere".

Terms & Conditions #2 is pretty specific about "using the items in the NCIX.com Boxing Week sale". Ryan did add later that "You can use surprise specials", but I haven't seen mention of the contest being expanded outside that link's list.
