SO. I just came back from FS on warden&hwy7, got there at 6 and just walked into the store. D3s are all sold out (only had 29), few 32" LGs sitting there. Nothing really HOT, I ended up walking away with a 226bw, gonna return it if its not the S panel, I doubt it is...
So, what did you end up buying?

All I got was the D3 hddvd player. Got it at the Burlington FS. I was in line just after midnight and was about tenth in line.
I was orignally told on Christmas eve that they will have 20-25 units but it turned out they only had 8!!! All the players were litterally sold out in around 15 seconds.

I got the 50" Samsung plasma tv, a few of the $20 HD-DVD's, couple HD-DVD boxsets from FS online. Went and picked up some blank DVD's and an HD-D3 from the Oshawa Future Shop. Surprisingly it was not that cold out early this morning.
Also picked up some cables from various places, and I ordered the Harmony 880 from Dell for $99.
All in all I am quite pleased with what I snagged this year as I got everything on my list. It would be nice if I got my new television by Friday, however I pretty much know that is not going to happen. I also saw some promotion from Rogers about getting an HD terminal free for a year if you purchased a new HDTV so hopefully I can take advantage of that.

Snagged two leather jackets from Danier, the 149$ ones went so fast. The sales people said they had never seen a Boxing Day like this. I was about 10th in line, but only had to wait about 15-20 minutes to get in.
By the time they opened though, there was probably 40+ in line, plus a cop to watch people as they left!

For the ones that bought the Samsung 22" 226bw:
What panel did you get? I tried different methods but it seems like Samsung REALLY want to cover up what kind of panels are used in the new monitors.
I looked up the sticker in the back of the monitor and its blank after the model name.
I looked it up in the secret menu and its blank too.
Follow this guide: http://www.bcchardware.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4259&Itemid=40
PM me with what kind of panel you have, I might want to test my luck with an exchange.
What I noticed is the texts looks a little blurry.

EDIT: OOPS, n/m, I will check.
I did some reading up on it and found that there were some problems with the "S" types? But I know mine is clear of those since it was manufactured in October of this year.

My gift to myself for boxing day was sleeping in. I was going to be at Future Shop for the 6am open, but I didn't want anything badly enough to actually follow through with it. It would have been nice to get a $99 HD DVD player for my GF, but it's no big deal.

Not bad! Just got my 360 earlier in the month (PM the Dell deal at FS) and already have 20 games for it! I figured out that with GST all 20 games have only cost me roughly $300 (1 game is a gift so no money from my pocket, the Xbox came with Halo 3, Marvel and Forza 2 which I count as 3 games) so $15 per game! AND I got duplicates (Xmas presents) so after I return Eternal Sonata and Mass Effect that'll be another $120+gst in my pocket!

Got the 37 inch Sony Bravia lcd from Dumoulin for $788 ($799@BB, $777@centrehifi). Could have PMed but their system was sooo slow that I didn't want to wait around for it.
Waltzed in to the L'acadie branch at 1:05 but OSS, zipped over to BlueBonnets (Rue du Jockey - by Walmart) OTD 15 mins later!
Not many ppl at Dumoulin and they were PMing everything ''as long as long as it wasn't below their cost'' according to the very nice salesman.
If the price and opportunity come up for a good, $100 500gb external hd (the only thing that I need), 4gb ultra or extreme sd memory and an 8gb usb memory stick, oh and a new basic desktop and monitor for the office than I'll go back later in the week or find it online.

Sadly, I only got shoes for myself. Some $89.99 Adidas shoes from Champs but I did get my sister a pair of shoes for half price because of the deal. It was a pretty weak deal but, new shoes are pretty nice :) I got these at Yorkdale and MAN that mall was packed. After lining up at the Best Buy in Dartmouth at 3 am (I was around 20th in line), I purchased the Logitech X-540 5.1 speakers and an Epson CX4550 (49.99 and 29.99 respectively).
I felt a bit old in that line considering the average age of folks ahead of me were in their 20's, but it was sure nice to toss the hacky-sack around. I still suck at that.
Cheers,

Wow really, my brother informed me that the average age where was easily 21 plus, there were a few old folks infront and behind him as well I guess the old folks around here have nothing better to do..and when I say old I'm talking he said these dudes had grey hairs n what not lol, like in their 50's old.

Walmart: Purex 2 for $7, big mother Ziplock storage bags $3 off, Duracell 12 pack batteries. Had my hand on the Daenyx 42" 1080p TV for a few minutes (yup, no one was buying it), pondered about the missing tuner and walked away sad for lack of ATSC tuner.
Futureshop: 2 pack of 2 gig SD $24.99 with insane line to pay for one item
BB: Bust (no battery duracell chargers, no projector)
Some random clothes and pants from West Coast.
Almost got a $40 speaker/massage chair from GNC until they told me it was a member price and it was ONLY $10 to join, $50 if you are not a member...walked out mad...you ain't getting my money for that bull crap pricing.
Anyone buy the Daeynx 42" tv? :)

Bought the Harmony 880 from Dell for $99 BUT my best Boxing Day deal is the price protection I received on my KDLW3000 and AVR247 from Future Shop. Bought both of these items over a month ago. I actually did a price protection on both of these items already but with the boxing day sale, I saved another $450!! This is in addition to the $400 savings I had before! All of this without any line ups and fighting for for the items plus I've had the use of the stuff!!!

Tame compared to the rest of you here. Not into electronics so skipped FS/BB etc. - my 4-yr old laptop still works like a charm!
For me:
Gap Wool Coat ~ $50
Wool dress pants Club Monaco ~ $20
Leather bag from Winners ~ $75
Leather bag#2 from Winners ~ 55
Leather wallet from Winners ~ $22
Leather boots from Sears ~ $20
Yes, I think I used up a small cow with all that leather....
For my brother:
3 pants from Tommy Hilfiger ~ $50
Tons of clearance clothing from Winners, including $5 shirts! ~ $50
Random sports equipment
Very disappointing Boxing Day for women's apparel. This is the first time my brother got more BD clothing than me. Only bought stuff that was on sale - why buy regular-priced clothing on Boxing Day?
