As the title says, we'll be down there (family) on the Christmas day, anyone know what's open?
What can we do to kill time (other than going to the falls?)? Any shopping places that will be opened?
p.s - does anyone know whether internet is free at the courtyard marriott?

Depends on what time you'll be getting there and when you have to leave
I'm not sure, but when I went there, my relatives (who had their passports) crossed the short border to the US and went shopping at the outlet stores there. There are some good deals on name brand stuff mechandise from what I've heard.
But then again, someone else living closer to the Falls should verify this.
Enjoy the sights.

Hmm... I'm not sure that the shopping area in the Fallsview Casino will be open on Christmas Day, might be. Everything else will be closed except for a very few restaurants right in the Fallsview corridor. They will open reduced hours (open late, closed early). Nothing shopping wise is open in the US either.

Cross the bridge and do the Seneca casino promo. Sounds better than dumping your own cash shopping or at Fallsview. More info in this thread : http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=516365&highlight=seneca

you could hit the movies. Cineplex location nearby is open. If you cab it the fare'll be about $12 each way from where you're at.
