Hello,

As the title suggest I was wonder how far in advance I have to book to go down south. I’m originally from Toronto and you could book literlly two days before you left but I have been reviewing the travel sites and it seems as though when I depart from Regina things book up that much quicker…is it do to less choices? How much in advance should I book…any suggestions…and any others would be great!

Thanks

2 hours prior? Seriously, it depends on where you want to go, how much you're willing to pay, and what airline(s) you want to travel on.

There are relatively few airlines serving Regina, so if you have a very certain location or dates in mind, you might not have great luck finding a good deal. And there aren't alot of seats on scheduled airlines to the major centres, so costs tend to be fairly expensive.

I think I remember reading on the news that Westjet was interested in starting up some international flights out of Regina, using airplanes that would have otherwise been parked overnight, but weren't allowed to because Canada Customs would not extend their hours at the airport.
