Yes, I bought it when everyone and their dog was buying one. That was August 2006. I want to get an M1330 from the US since I can have it shipped to my uncle for $1000 inclusive with 3 year NBD warranty and a bunch of stuff this laptop doesn't have. My mom is visiting my uncle in January, so she'll get a $750 exemption and will only need to pay taxes on $250.

I bought a similar spec M1210 recently for ~800. Although mine has a go 7400 and webcam, but a lesser processor.
