going to buy a 2007 model next year...yes I'm a carbon abuser but so are all the other SUV owners here :) ...reviews have been good for most part but want to know is there any Hummer owners here that wants to share their own personal opinions...I know the manager of Roy Foss so the price is going to be very good and he mentions he think it be a excellent SUV choice...I test drove the H3X model with all the bling and its drives amazing well and the blind spots werent bad considering the small side windows..pick up was good, ride was excellent, turning radius was amazing!!!...brakes a bit soft and cabin space was a
lot better compared to other SUVs GM makes. So any other H3 owners wants to add their 2 cents about this truck.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PURCHASE A GAS GUZZLING HUMMER IN A TIME OF CRISIS LIKE THIS? DO YOU WANT AL GORE TO CRY? WHY ARE YOU blah blah blahhhhhhh.

My boy has an H3 Hummer. Just remember, that you can always go for customized, aftermarket upgrades, so I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the "bling" of the vehicle. I can tell you it is a great ride in the snow. Maybe you might want to consider putting a plow in front and clearing the snow on my street for free?

The H3 is a rebadged Colorado/Canyon - relatively small trucks.

I've sat in one before, pretty crappy material inside, and the outside/blindspot view is just horrible. Not much of a comfortable ride either.

If you're gonna go for a Hummer, get the H1.
H2 and H3 is a waste of steel and gas.

And don't hit my Civic

I don't know which's worse.. getting killed in a car crash or killing someone in a car crashing and living with it for the rest of your life.

H3 isn't a real Hummer. I'd get an FJ Cruiser or Xterra instead.

Any hummer is a gas guzzling piece of trash and is the #1 money making vehicle for GM. There's a reason they keep pushing it

You'll get people pulling up to you and shaking there heads at you for being so dumb to buy one of these. Ya, there's other suvs, but all of the hummers top the list of gas guzzlers and serve no purpose other then to state you have small genitals

You cmon. It's a diesel guzzler. Besides, if you have an H1 and pull up to some busybody shaking their heads, what would you care?

Exactly, H1 or GTFO. ;)

H1 is the only true hummer.

It's not that it's a gas guzzler, looks fugly, or kills the environment.

It's that it is a sheep in wolf's clothing. A poser-mobile for people who want to look like an off-road truck driver at the mall. It's the result of a GM rebranding experiment to appeal to those who don't know any better. It is no tougher than the truck it is based on and every extra pound of sheet metal just makes the whole vehicle worse in every respect.

It has cornered the market on the least amount of sport packaged with minimal utility, and is sold under the illusion of having both. It is truly a crappy, crappy vehicle.

I find Hummers to be obnoxious. I have an irrational insta-hate whenever I see one.

H2 and H3 were never cool. And real Hummers stopped being cool years ago.

The only people who will show any positive reaction to your Hummer are likely other Hummer owners. The rest of the public will think your either a cheese ball, a guy compensating for a small wang, or just an idiot in general. No trying to be harsh but ask around and thats the reaction youll get.

Get a Jeep Commander, 4lo, more power, better built & more comfortable, I had to pull out my nieghbour's H3 in that snowstorm 2 weeks ago. I think he is selling his H3 now must be sick of the tie rods breaking everytime he tries to show off by going over a curb. H3=not a real truck.

not saying it's not a gas guzzler, but at least it does a good job at what it's designed for. H2 and H3, not so much.

I have more respect for an H1 or G500 then H2/3.

Are you sure H3 = broken tie rods? First time I have heard of that.
The H2 on the other hand is a lot more fragile (being based on the Surburban).

I came to conclusion that the H3 is not the one...after test driving it again with my cousin we agree that there is a lot better choices...going German or Japanese....the list has been expanded...2007 Pathfinder...2006 VW V6 or V8...2006 LR3 Landrover.... 2005 Lexus RX 330...I agree to the degree that the H3 even though a good off road SUV the trade off its not a good everyday transport..

OP just lease or buy a new/used bmw x3/x5 (depending on how much you gonna spend). i saw a 3 yr old x3 for $24k. some 04 x5s are around $30k.

i think bmw makes the best suvs. the 3.0 engine is pretty light on gas for a suv. the 03 x5 3.0 i had got 12l/100km. too bad it got totaled (the other person was at fault). impacted at around 50km near head on and i didnt feel a thing cuz its a really safe car. i took the ins. money and got a ford beater. now im gonna wait for the x6 and/or newer x5s.

Agree on the X5...;) The new X5 looks pretty good :)

The X6 is only a 4 seater right now...interesting looking...
