Hi,

I am not too fond of the Accord Sedan's styliing and am leaning towards purchasing the coupe in 2 years' time. I am not due to return to the Honda Dealership for service yet (2,000 or so km left) and was wondering how spacious the rear seats are. The coupe wasn't in the showroom when I had my last service done.

How inconvenient is to move the front seats forward to accommodate people sitting in the back?

I am already the tallest in the family, 66 inches , 5' 6" and with a slender build.

Thanks.

5' 6' is no problem in an accord coupe. You won't have to move your seat forwards, especially if you're the tallest in your family.

I agree the accord sedan is ugly, well, I thought it looked chessy
coupe is nice and u should have no problem with the seating comfort of those in the back..5'6" is nothing for car seating, if you were 6'...different story

If my friends 5'6" has no problem with the back seat in the Prelude, it shouldn't be an issue with the bigger Accord.

I bought the coupe because I could care less how comfortable my friends are in the back seat. I bought it because of me and me only. But then again I'm single and have no family.

The back is roomy enough to seat 2, but no more. I've 6', and I've climbed in the backseat before, and it's comfortable enough for a couple of hours I would say.

The hassle on coupes is always climbing into the back seat, with friends and family climbing in, you're bound to have the back the front seats kicked/swiped by the passengers climbing into the back.

I've been trying to convince my wife to go for the Accord Coupe in 09 if we can't afford to buy a vehicle with AWD since I really don't fancy the Accord Sedan.

It seems that besides the Headroom, which the Civic has more of because of the lack of a moonroof in some models, most of the rear seating dimensions for the Accord Coupe come close to a Civic's except for this rear hip room (1296 cm for Civic Sedan vs 1176 cm for the Accord Coupe). I guess the Accord Coupe comfortably seats 2 adults whereas the Civic could seat 3?
