Did anyone else notice.......?

My husband and I usually go down south over the holidays - leaving the Friday before Christmas.

I'm usually able to get a great deal a couple of weeks before departure, by monitoring the cost of the AI's.

However, this year, prices didn't drop - in fact most of them were going up.

What happened????????????

Unfortunately flight prices are directly proportional to supply and demand. Either there are more folks flying to your destination or the airlines noticed the same as you did, that in previous years they had too many unsold seats, so they reduced the number of flights. Not sure where you're located, but if you're in a border city, have you looked into flying from the U.S.? Good luck on your hunt!
