Hi Ladies and Gents!

Can anyone recommend their favorite hotel in downtown toronto for my wedding night. I want to book a hotel suite that is nicer than average for my wedding night with great customer service and either elegant or hip decor that is not too outdated.

There are a number of trendy boutique style hotels that could work. The two I've stayed at are the SOHO Metropolitan and the Pantages hotel. I stayed in their normal rooms and was impressed, so I can only imagine what one of the upgraded suites would be like. Of the two, I liked the SOHO better (as did my wife). The bathroom is large, all marble with a large shower (more than enough room for two ;) ), heated floors, ambient lighting, etc.

For more traditional hotels you could try the Royal York or perhaps the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. I had the fortune of staying in the Presidential Suite on my wedding night at the Westin and it was fabulous to say the least. Great view of both the water and the city.

Good luck.

i am getting married downtown and check out a few places; the grand, king edward, pantages, cambridge suites, metropolitan. i think the grand is the best place for the money. it borders cracktown but are you gonna go outside? they have the largest rooms (for the money) with large balconies. they even have a rooftop patio with 2 hottubs and a large movie screen!
