What happens if you are caught ridding one of these on the sidewalk/road? Do you get a ticket? Do they take it away?

A Ticket I believe, I know I saw a cop chase one down on the sidewalk last year...was quite funny to watch.

some stupid kid was racing one of these a few months ago up and down the sidewalk, doing well over the speed limit.. after 10 at night, with no headlight.

it could very well be a big debatable topic but its not street legal AFAIK

sidewalk and such its not legal as well... so basically use at your own property

but sometimes I play at school parking lot...but alot of people like to ruin kids fun calling cops and such...ppl gotta chill, kids are kids

I agree but the flip side to this is if someone gets injured the parents will say why didn't someone do something? Next stop, law suit on city.

I'm sure if they really felt like it they could charge you with a list of things, including if I recall some of the news stories operating a vehicle without insurance. BTW that's a $5000 fine.

gotta agree.. seems, these times, safety is so stressed, that kids can't even learn from their mistakes, or whatever in general... everyone's a winner, even if you lose in school.
HOHOHO can't be used for Xmas Santa b/c it is BAAAD b/c of the word "HO" sounding like HO*. ..
it is getting ridiculous...
but I digress... :)
