With the US import thread taking over the No.1 thread in RFD soon, I am wondering how many RFDer actually imported a vehicle from US and plated in Canada.
People, show your vehicle, POST PIX!! Sort of like the Wall of Saver on carburner, only with PICs!! I will be the first one.

BTW...was that DVD playing on your NAVI screen? Did you have to do mods like grounding the parking break on the tribeca unit?

Thanks, I like the Impreza. It's perfect for what I need it for. :D That's not a DVD playing actually. It's using the Aux Video input using my Zune. :D It's the Rhianna "Shut up and drive" music video. I haven't done the ground mod yet but I will sometime this week. Would like to have video playing as I drive. :D

US Trim isn't always that great :(
On the RAV4 they all come with TPMS, worthless dummy light imo. :(
When I move back and get winters, I'm not paying the $200 plus for extra sensors :(

Thanks! I actually have the momo shifter option, so that ugly stock is gone. The pictures don't do the red leather justice, it's actually a LOT darker.

how'd you get a dealer to sell you a new toyota for export? Or are you waiting for it to become 'used'?

I showed them a valid reason for why I'm a resident in the US (I-94) ;) Like I said,it hasn't been imported yet, it surely will be in the future when I move back to Toronto ;)

Hey, where do you get the aux video input cable? I am thinking of getting an ipod (or something similar) hook up to my Outback.

If he did the same thing I did, the navigation has a stock video input behind the vents. It's meant for a factory or aftermarket rear view camera. You then do the Jazzy MT Audio in mod if it didn't come factory. I have my Creative Zen M hooked up to my navigation...nothing like watching top gear in traffic :)

Actually, for the Impreza Navi, the A/V input is in the centre console. :D

You can get the cables anywhere. There's lots of 3rd party cables for the iPod.

oh hehe that works too :) I just fed my wires underneath, kind of a pain but it works.
Then I hacked my stereo for the Aux input mod on a blank CD, and used a splitter and hard wired my Sirius radio into it as well as the Zen for audio. Works like a charm!
