Just thinking about this the other day... I want to rent a car for a couple of days (for example, picking up saturday morning and returning sunday evening), but just wondering where i can park the car overnight? i live in an apartment and obviously since i don't have a car i don't have parking spot in the building... can i park on the street? or what?
Sorry if this is a stupid/noob question... but I just want to know and plan accordingly!
Thanks in advance!

ask your apartment if they have a visitor parking lot or temp parking space you can use for overnite. Say you have visitor sleeping over and see if they let you.
Parking on streets overnight is generally a bad idea. Most places have by-laws that prohibit parking from 2am-6am, especially in Winter due to snow. Better check with your town before doing it.

This is true in theory, but realistically enforcement is rare.

I was the lucky one to get ticketed twice, strange but these parking officers seem to find my car when it is past 2am
