My favourite authentic Portuguese restaurant!

Bairrada Churrasqueira Grill 1000 College Street, Toronto, ON (416)539-8239

Bairrada Churrasqueira (http://http://www.yellowpages.ca/searchCustomer.do?type=DISPAD&listingId=32079718&len=10&cityId=TORONTO&provinceId=ON&categoryId=01125710&city=Toronto&categoryName=Restaurants&categorySym=restaurant)

They actually now have 2 more GTA locations, but this is the best.

BTW, this is my first post. Great site here.

Brazilian and Portuguese foods are quite different...

In terms of Brazilian restaurants, there are a couple decent places (good food - service kind of simple) on Dundas (between Ossington and Dufferin)....look for :

Casa do Churrasco - 1305 Dundas St
Amazonas - right across Casa do Churrasco

in both places, try the "picanha", "feijoada" or "moqueca"

Portuguese food : there are LOTS of great "churrasqueiras" around the area and some places also where you less expect it... Try this place called "Churrasco Villa" (Eglinton and Mt Pleasant)...affordable and great food.

Just my brazilian opinion..... B)

I think that they are similar or same as Surinam cornstarch cookies.

Any info?? Thanks.
