Sunday Dec 9: Reduce, Recycle, Revue!
FREE SCREENING of Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home
Two years ago, local filmmaker Andrew Nisker convinced his friends the McDonald family to stop throwing out their garbage.
Their experience with an accumulating pile of trash over three months and the story of where our hyper-consumerism and wasteful lifestyles lead is the subject of Nisker's just-released documentary: "Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home."
The Revue offers a FREE SCREENING Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. Nisker and the McDonald family mother-daughter team will attend the screening for questions and discussion. Councillor Gord Perks, who's interviewed in the film, will also drop by.
