We're in a new subdivision and don't have fences at the moment. We may never even get a fence since our backyard is already small, and getting a fence would make it feel even smaller. I'm worried that my BBQ may get stolen though because it's in plain view. Our area is all rear garages, and anyone driving or walking by in the laneway can see it. What can I do to secure it?

A big chain with a strong lock.
It may get stolen anyway, but not a lot else you can do

Should I anchor an eye bolt to the foundation and then put the chain through the eye bolt? The other thing I was thinking about was just removing the wheels so that someone just couldn't roll it away. They'd have to carry it, and it's not light/small.

Weld it to something.

I attach mine to some cinder blocks I had lying around. I have a Master brand thick cable instead of a chain. The cable is bit thicker than a link of a big chain.
If you're not going to use it in the winter, take off some parts like wheels, knobs, handles, etc. so it won't be as desirable to potential thieves. Unless you have an expensive Weber, thieves will probably not bother with wanting to replace all the missing parts.
