Good indoor plant

I am looking for some nice and cheap indoor plant.

- Around 3-5 feet tall.
- Cannot have spikes or sharp edges that can harm children.
- Easy to glow.

It will be placed near window facing east or west.

I love yuccas, they remind me of the time I've spent in the South West...but I also remember getting jabbed in the thigh a number of times by the wild ones, ow!....night not meet the OP's criteria about no spikes of sharpe edges.

Honestly I didn't know they did okay as an indoor plant, its tempting to get one for myself.
