Just to let you guys know, on Thursday December 6, between 6-9PM Urban is having a Customer Appreciation Sale. Everything is 10% of the last ticketed price, which sounds lame, but there will be allot of markdowns, so a far bit of product on a great deal.

I used to visit this shop when I worked in downtown Calgary but never bought anything. I found it funny that the guy working at the jeans counter watched me walk by and then proceeded to ask me if I had seen the new model of the very jeans that I was wearing. Kind of creepy but a trained eye.

Keep in mind this is one of those retailers of expensive brands, so 10% and markdowns still means prices well in excess of $150 on most items.

Ha Ha, I hope that wasn't me, I used to work there as the "denim expert" (that was my title. no joke. ), more often than not you get a denim enthusiast who is always looking for something new.

Urban does carry more exclusive expensive brands, however, if you were in the market for a pair of R&R or True Religion jeans (which never go on sale), well, you can save $25.

Keep in mind that there are lots of markdowns throughout the store, so 10% is the absolute minimum.

I have been working at Urban for about a year and a bit, its got somewhat of an odd reputation locally, your usefull applicable critizism is appreciated and helps me find stuff to build on as a sales person. (even though, I am a full time student and work there only once week!)

Anyways, come down for the sale, we should have drinks at the very least!
