Possibly not as hot as the 7/11 deal but they do have there 1c evenings and weekends. You get 10$ airtime with the phone and they double the $20 airtime card to 40$. Plus you can take the 3 easy payments plan so maybe your rebate would be back by then.

This seems a good rogers paygo deal....
Okay you go to
http://www.airmilesshops.ca/friendsandfamily
sign in then to TSCC and buy product #1718986:cheesygri for $113.99including tax.
(I'm using my no fee amex airmiles card) that's 113 airmiles total :D (about $16.38).
Pick up in store and don't pay delivery fee, and get a compass/flashlight keychain free.
So after you activate it sign up for the "autosaver" option
(this will also save you 20% off your fees).
Now, add $50 to your account, they will double it,
so that costs $57... $170.99 altogether,
take away the $50 rebate and the value of the airmiles and for
$104 you got the phone and $110 worth of minutes at 20% less than usual,
a value of $137:lol: .
Even without those 100 airmiles it's costing you $118.50 and the keychain's cool.
I believe that you have till the end of the year.

Your deal is ok but I prefer the moto phone with accessories. Go to howard forums search for me and see how to keep your paygo going for 1.00 plus taxes every 2 weeks. Regardless I think that rogers has value with the 1c evenings and weekends.

is it possible to buy this now, but activate it some time in March?
I'm currently with Virgin Mobile, from the WNP days and am planning to switch to Rogers, but my credit does not expire until March...

Anyone know?

also: where is the link for the $50 rebate? I dont see it anywhere on the page?

Phone is good, except it does not have an external call display, only external 'icons'.

The Motorola W385 from Telus is better, and is only $99.99. It has an external display that can display caller id, and has a .3 MP camera.

Hey BCTI..i googled it and read but still confused, so If i start a new plan as PAYG with rogers, can I startup with only $20 and then use the $1 every 15 days trick to get 1c week nite/weekend?

here's what I found on HF and let me know.

if you pay 1$ through your online banking you will get 15 days of expiry on any rogers paygo plan.

In order to change your plan you will need to apply the miniumum topup however once you are on the plan you want if you pay through online banking you will get 15 days expiry for 1$.

does anyone know if these phones will work overseas with an overseas sim card? Or will it only take sim cards in Canada for the pay as you go phones? Nokia, Pantech, etc.
