that's not a very good coffee grinder. Burmill grinders are prefered as it will not burn the beans.

Excellent grinder... I own two of these. The second one I bought for $20 from Wallmart. I only use it to grind coffee beans. The cup seems sort of small to grind anything else, not that it wouldn't work.

I own a conical burmill grinder for my espresso beans. I bought this grinder for seeds and coffee. Sure burmills are much better, for 13bucks this is a great buy, thanks OP! (With an expensive burmill I don't like to grind oily types of beans, this coffee grinder is simple and easy to clean.)

Very good grinder for non-espresso use. Burr grinders are way too hard to clean, and cost a lot more. This Braun one just requires a quick wipe down and you're done.

It depends on the price you want to invest. I would recommend the Kitchenaid Pro Line grinder (KPCG100NP). Price varies between 150 and 300$online.

can you recommend a good burmill grinder
Bought the SOLIS Maestro from www.espressotec.com this week. Price has been dropped to C$109 and they ship out of Richmond, BC so no duty either! Pretty happy with it so far -- works better than my Starbucks/SOLIS Burr grinder that finally died after 10 years.

How good is this grinder compared with the PC one which was on sale for $9.99 at RCSS months ago?
