I'm in the market for sofa or love seat for my apartment and would like some advice. The space isn't huge, open to the kitchen/dinning room and workstation.

I've noticed the Sofa-Bed Sunday at Structube because of the low adjustable armrests, and it convert to a bed (tho sofa bed isn't necessary).

Sears has one just like it but a lot cheaper, although the cushion doesn't have any pipping, so I'm a little suspect on about the stitching.

Can any give me any advice on the topic (stores/models). Budget is $1000. Would like to stay away from leather.

Thanks

Check out IKEA.
They have some nice modern designs, and for $1000 you could probably get a sofa and loveseat (or at least a sofa and chair).

I'm not big on most of the IKEA slip cover/pine wood look and feel. They don;t wear as well either. I'm more interested in a microfiber.

I found a nice Lind sofa at the Bay. Does anyone know anything about Lind Furniture?

I got my sofa for my condo from EQ3. It was only $699 but I can't recall what the dimensions were. It seats three comfortably though. I would say with EQ3 you get what you pay for. For 1/2 the price of other comparable furniture I think I would say I got 1/2 the craftmanship. The sofa is still all wood construction though and feels sturdy. It's not cheap by any means but I won't expect it to last more than 7-10 years either at the very most. But i'm okay with that since I was buying for it to last 5 years at the most only :D
