New roof + squirrels = HELP

ok so we had a bad roof before... bad shingles.. leaks, the like.... and squirrels had holes in it too

we just got a new roof done up this week and the guy said he closed the holes where the squirrels made them

this morning i woke up early to hear a squirrel scratching at a spot on my roof for 1 hour (and its still doing it as I type) ... How do I get rid of these squirrels messing up my new roof and trying to get in again!?

poison....set traps, get a freaking slingshot....anything that you have to do.

I would consider paying a pest control company to determine if the squirrels can still access....a roofer will give you his best judgement, but isn't the expert. I speak from having exactly the same experience.

I hate those rodents so much!

I was getting ready to go outside this morning to throw snowballs at them but they left by the time I got out

If you have access through the attic, put a light on up there for a couple days. The constant light will prob drive them away (works for raccoons and skunks).

Call an exterminator and ask them what to do (most will give you free advice over the phone). I bet the stinkers are doing what mice will do and that is look for their former entrances. That means they may do whatever it takes to chew through in the same spots they had before so you need to stop them.
