don't be fooled by 3rd party vga wires - they dont come with these gold plated adapters (the vga male-male adapter is hard to find and will end up costing you $10 or more) and some are not properly shielded and give lots of ghosting on the screen
VGA is also the BEST output for non HDMI 360s - if you watch a lot of movies and have component only you need this wire as through component the 360 will ONLY output 480p MAX with DVDs! with VGA it will go 1080P
