ya steam is a digital distribution program, has many of valve games and others titles and you can DL the game and get updates and patches to the game automatically so you don''t have to worry about finding patches etc.. plus the price is cheaper then getting software games in the box etc.... neat service and its all FREE and its like xbox live with friends list etc..
