Looking for a good deal on a Bosch Hilti Drill - online or any major chains that may be located in Winnipeg.

Bosch and Hilti are 2 different manufactures. There are 100's on Ebay at the moment, depending on whether you want cordless or cord, 3/8", 1/2" chuck, hammer or not. There are to many to choose from.
If you're looking for a good brand which is a lot cheaper then Hilti, then try Dewalt.

Hilti is some of the best you can get, it's contractor grade, if you're looking to just use it around the house it's a tad on the overkill side.

My husband is an electrican and drills through pretty thick concrete so he needs a heavy duty hammer drill. Sorry I forgot, it's often called a Hilti drill even though thats a name brand. It's a Bosch he wants because they have the 36V cordless (because if he has the power disconnected to the house he needs cordless). He picked up a nice set at Home Depot that was on sale until Sunday. Guess I have to figure something else out for his Christmas present :( Thanks for the advice though guys.

I assume he got the Bosch 36volt 1" SDS-PLUS model? you can always buy him concrete bits, core bits, chisels and points for it. Is he happy with his cordless? I didn't think those would have enough run time to go through a 8" concrete wall

Ohhh sweet ideas~! thanks for the suggestions... should be fun stocking stuffers hahaha. I'm pretty sure thats the model he bought. He's happy with it so far but hasn't had a chance to use it on any foundation walls yet - hopefully it has enough juice in it. Apparently there's two different sized batteries and of course the smaller one comes with the drill. So maybe I'll buy him the larger battery as he was saying he wished it came with the bigger one.
