Your mom won't care if you buy condoms, even off eBay. As long as you're using protection, she'll be happy.

Seriously though, this sounds illegal--whatever it is that you're doing.

Mail Receiving Services

At almost every location of The UPS Store, you can get a mailbox with a real street address and secure 24-hour access to mail and postal deliveries. Additional services include mail forwarding, fax receiving and the ability to call in and check for new mail. It's so much more than just a mailbox - it's a whole range on convenient services.

We've used the UPS Store for years as our business address. About $160 per year, and they sign for anything delivered (unless there's a cod amount)

Nice things as well is that you can make your address say Suite # or Unit # instead of PO Box # (many places won't ship to a PO Box)

Thanks, I'll consider the UPS stores if I can't find anything else. I'd rather support a private local business, but I guess I'll have to take what's available. There was a shop I saw on Yonge, a bit south of Bloor IIRC but I was having quite a bit of trouble communicating in English with the guy at the counter (I really did try) so I scratched that option.

Tell me, what am I doing? Asking for a recommendation; wow, isn't that dangerous. You might want to call the RCMP and tell them someone is looking to rent a mailbox, they'd probably want to hear about it in case it's a national security issue. Canada Post rents PO Boxes (in other words, a mailbox), that must be illegal as well. Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. There's this thing called Google ... use it when you have no idea what you're talking about. You can even add it to your bookmarks so you can go back whenever you have more questions.

As this type of business requires a lot of trust, I'm looking for recommendations (I definitely wouldn't want you touching my mail, you sound rather immature/misinformed). I rather support a private local business rather than a bloated crown corporation.

If the mail you are expecting is important to you then I would think twice about a small independent place. Many years ago I used a small store located on Kingston Rd near Birchmount with mailboxes.

One day I picked up some mail and noticed that all peces had been opened. When I asked the owner he claimed that is how he got the mail, several weeks later I went in and someone else was complaining about the same problem. I spoke up and (this time it was the owners wife) said that it had happened to me and it was unacceptable. The wife started crying and apologized admitting that they believed their son who had a drug problem had been opening the mail looking for cash. I decide then and there to look for another mailbox store. Didn't get around to it for several weeks but then it was to late the store closed its doors one day and I was unable to get any mail that was there.

Lesson learned. If UPS had been around I would used them in a heartbeat. I actually ended up getting a PO box at the Post Office at Kennedy/Eglinton. Don't know whether they still rent boxes or not.

i see your point, but you arent on here asking for just a regular PO box...you are asking for a discrete mailbox.. usually the people who try to remain annonymous...try to for a reason other than their personal privacy....otherwise just have these letters delivered to your house

anonymity encourages fraud and scammers

I'll take that into consideration ... of course, that could happen anywhere, but a company like UPS has their brand to back them, not to mention a lot more at stake to mess about with such someone's mail. Sure, the mail is important ... so is anything with personal information. I'm not a secret agent so I don't receive any important documents, just your average daily mail.

You're confusing your vocabulary; discrete and anonymous have two different meanings. Similar perhaps, but clearly not the same.

then what do you mean by discrete?? id like to know, because paying fo use of a mailbox is no more discrete than having it delivered to your house...
seems that you are using the word discrete because you dont want to sound like you are doing anything Fishy.....nobody cares about their "average daily mail" being discrete

im sorry for saying what you are scared to say yourself
