i am looking for a good Network Colour Laser Printer and am willing to pay around $400. am willing to buy online or b/m in edmonton. any suggestions? thanks

If you don't mind older equipment, look for a used HP 4500N or 4550N. The toner is cheap (I just picked up a new yellow toner for $25 AFTER shipping), and you get a lot more pages than you do out of some of the newer models. It's built like a tank, but weighs as much as one, too.

I'd suggest looking at places that sell off-lease equipment. I bought mine here in the GTA at a place called Computation. (www.computation.to). You definitely don't want to pay shipping on this thing! Just make sure it has the Jetdirect card in it. (The ethernet card). Some places will take them out and not tell you unless you specifically ask. You can also get a second tray and duplexer, but I have yet to find one of the matching stands/carts that HP made for these.
