I used to get the Corporate Discount with GoodLife for $375/year from my last job. The condition is to prepay 1 full year of membership fee and my last employer will send the payment to GL and they mailed the card to me.
I no longer work for them and my current employer's corporate rate is $25+GST bi-weekly. It works out to be $689/year which is almost double of what I was paying before.
Let me know if you can hook me up for a deal please.
TIA

I actually walked into Extreme Fitness here in Whitby wanting to sign up for a full year gym membership. I made them well aware that I had the money and was looking for a good deal. I also brought across to there attention if I didn't go with them I would go elsewhere because I was eager to sign up. The following day they called me putting me under GM Corporate account and only paid as $375 with taxes. It's worth a try give it a shot! GL

Any reviews or feedback on their Vaughan location?
What do their memberships usually cost? Any specials for university students?

i have the same plan as u and i found it not competitive enough.
$25 + GST = $26.50 x 26 = $689.00
Extreme Fitness don't have any location in the west end (Mississauga to be exact) so i couldn't join with them.
I heard a lot of horror stories from Premier Fitness, they offered me $35/month plan but i didn't end up going with them.

i never been to the Vaughan location. But i been to the one on Woodbine/Steeles during 6-7:30pm on a weeknight. That gym was busy as hell, all equipments were used up and lineup is a must on certain machines or barbell weights.
As for student plan, i am sure they have something under the University/College where you attend.
Remember, those membership coordinators are hungry for sales, if you tell them you have money and ready to signup, they usually offered the best price instead of their average/standard price plan. Good Luck.

How does Goodlife define corporate discount? Does anyone know what employment you need? I.e. government, large co. like IBM, what?

go in and speak to the membership coordinator and they can tell you the rate based on the company you work for.
they will need to see a business card or paystub with company's heading/logo to honor the corporate rates.
