Does anyone know where I can find a deal for the HD-DVD drive for my Xbox360?

There seems to be deals out there.

$179 is the going price.
- One deal I saw with Heroes 1st season in HD

There is also the deal of five free movies with your purchase.

Also Future Shop has bunch of HD DVDs for $20 as someone pointed out in the forum.


I love my 360 HD Player. No load times and I'm already connected to the web for some newer titles.
The dual picture in picture is cool. In 300 they show the blue screen recording in a window while watching the movie.

I also playback my DVDs in it since it upscales to 1080p

The question is are there any here in Canada, most deal I see are in the US. It sucks for us who want the 5 free dvd deal and the drive + heroes cause I have yet to see this in Canada. It sucks if you don't have a US maibox. I have been looking for something like this for a while. =(

Just saw last night in the Flyers

$199 with the 2 Disc Transformers HD DVD

I bought mine last year when Superstore had a Tax free day which saved me $30

Still a rip-off considering the us is getting it with Heroes Season 1 and the drive and the 5 free for 179.99

Looks like the regular price at SuperStore is $179.99

I was just in the Newmarket location at Young and Green Lane and they have a "Tax Free" night tonight from 9:00pm - 12:00AM

That would make it $157.00 (not bad)
