I have a P180 but it's just too cramped now and I need a new case but I don't know many full tower designs.
Here's what I am looking for (in order of importance):
EDIT: I'm considering the Cosmos 1000 and CM Stacker 830. Anyone have experience with either?
Must have:
- No power supply: I have one already.
- Spacious: Lots of space after everything goes in.
- Cost: 200 to 280 range OR less; nothing higher
- 5 hard drives; 2 DVD drives and one 5 1/4 Multifunction panel
- Can take an 8800 Ultra and have space.
- Good Airflow.
- Tooless design: The more tooless stuff the better.
- Power supply top or bottom: doesn't matter
Pluses:
- Removable motherboard tray
- Water cooling upgradablility

Wow nice but waaayyy out of my price range.
Silverstone TJ07
Good too but everything is screws. No tooless comforts :)
What about the TJ09? Wouldn't it be an improvement over this one?

CM Stacker 832

Goes for $225-250. Currently there's a $50 mail in rebate from CM as well.

From where? Wouldn't it be expensive to have this shipped?

Functional is good enough for me :)

What's the difference between the 830 and the 832?

I've owned a TJ07, TJ09, played with a TJ10, Stacker 832, 830.
I would personally take any silverstone over a coolermaster..but depends if you can afford it. The silverstones are built better IMO.

Ermm not really, the numbers mean nothing just when they were released. The TJ07 is one of the best for Water Cooling, the TJ09/TJ10(same thing) are better for air cooling.
The TJ07 has what like 8 5 1/4" bays which is beautiful! if you can use them.
The Cosmos I have considered as well..but the looks of it are turning me off already.
Just FYI, a friend of mine had the same choice a little bit back..he chose the TJ10..and never looked back. We took a look at the Coolermasters...and they just didn't compare in quality. He wasn't going water cooling, and he has 8800GTX SLI so the TJ10 made sense.

I am going with Cosmos because it doesnt vibrates nor make loud noises.. stacker is expensive and superior since its good at cooling but i find it suck since there are way too many stuff to take off..

Well although I like the build quality on the Silverstones, I'm not too picky about it. It's more about functionality and convenience in my case.

I've ruled out the Cosmos, it seems more gimicky and noise doesn't bother me.
The real deal breaker was not proper cooling for the hard drives and I have 5 that will need proper air flow.
Man all these choices are really good. Wish I had somewhere to see all these cases up close.
Anyways, it basically seems like a choice between the V2000B, Stacker 832 and Silverstone TJ07/09/10.
The other Lian Li's are nice but seem to be harder to find for me. I'll have to research the LIAN LI PC-201A some more though.
Thanks for all the input so far everyone!

Hey Everyone!
Thanks for all the advice and suggestions!
I decided last night and bought the Lian Li A70.
Not the monster that the V2100 Plus is but a nice mix of everything I could want in a case.
Here is why I chose it:
- Place for Water Cooling in either the top or bottom chamber where the PSU usually goes. Even enough place for a second PSU.
- Removable mobo tray that won't have a problem with large heatsinks.
- Lian Li addons:
- alternate side and top panels
- Wheels too
- Handles
- Ducts and shrouds
- Fully aluminum
- Lots of fan placements.
- My video card can go into the bottom slot and airflow is not blocked to the card. This is important because of the way I want to lay out my cards.
- Enough space for cable clamps for cable management.
- It's not a "bling bling" case like Thermaltakes are.
Thanks again to all! Feel free to continue the discussion!
