To all you wireless experts out there:

I have this AR525W router that refuses to talk with my computer and DSL modem. I have even tried another computer but still refuses to "talk". (All it does is continuously resetting itself, and when I am physically connected to it, I get the pop-up saying it's unplugged).

The troubling thing is, it used to work all right, before I (probably) changed something by accidents in 192.168.1.1, but now I obviously can't even access the gateway to see.

Anyone has any clue what is happening? (anyone has any clue what I'm talking about, lol)

BTW, both computers I tried run on WinXP SP2, with the default NIC.
I doubt it is the NIC's problem though, since it works just fine when connected to another network.

If it is continuously power cycling, it's probably toast. If there's a reset button, try holding that down until something happens...

Yeah there is a reset button that you have to hold down for mininum 10 secs to reset, which I did try a few times.

Awww, I was hoping no one would come to this conclusion>:(

Update:
It turns out the problem was I used a 12V, 200mA adaptor instead of the specified 12V, 500mA one. :o
Here's an embarrassing lesson for everyone (well, that means me)

Good thing it wasn't the other way around, otherwise I would have probably fried it. :S
