I plan on traveling to the USA shortly and will be buying a set of tires to be installed on my car at a later time. Does anybody know what Costco's policy is with respect to purchasing a Costco tire in the USA and getting it installed in Canada? If this does not cause a problem for them, do you pay the installation fee when purchasing the tires in the USA and get the tires installed in Canada later at no additional fee or do you pay the installation fee in Canada? By doing so, do you still get the following benefits?

Mounting
Lifetime balancing
Lifetime rotation
Lifetime flat repair
Lifetime air pressure checks
New rubber valve stem
Nitrogen inflation
Costco Wholesale's road hazard warranty

Thanks you for your help.

Why don't you just get Costco in the US to install them for you?

All Costco's benefits still apply at any Costco in the US or Canada. They only give you $10/tire off the list price if they don't install them. Getting tires installed for $40 including free lifetime rotations and balancing is damn cheap.

Oh, and if you're in the GVR, don't go to Bellingham, go to Burlington. Bellingham is overloaded with Canadians, they had 15 people lined up at opening last monday, so I drove 20 minutes to Burlington and had the tires on in an hour.
