I just started smoking some cigars casually, so I bought a fairly cheap humidor for $20 (holds 20, is made of cedar) it didn't come with a hygrometer though.
I have no idea if I need an analog or digital one, or where to even buy one.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Hey Vladmir,

Here is a nice cheep one at Dealextreme Link (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4057)

I usually use the digital "Credit Card" type but this should be fine for your 20ct Humy.

Remember to "Season" your humidor Just wet down the inside of the Humidor with a sponge, and leave the damp sponge inside the humidor for 24 hours before you put any cigars inside.

The Hydrometer should read between 65-75% humidity.

BTW, only use Distilled Water for the Seasoning, and the Humidification Unit. Tap water is much to "Hard"; it will eventually clog up the Humidification Unit as well as eventually stain the Cedar Humidor.

Here is also an artical on how to calibrate a Hygrometer (http://cigars.about.com/od/humidors/qt/hygrometers.htm)
