View Full Version : Bestbuy Canada now matching(or beating) U.S. bestbuy's prices (on CERTAIN products)

Check out BB's flyer section. Flyer on the right shows some products that are cheaper than bb.com

One of the items is lo and behold the samsung 4661 for 1499$ Good deal for anyone that didn't get in on the deal a fs a while ago. Should be a nice opportunity to PM from FS since its selling for 2300$ right now. Don't know if it will drop tmw..

Man - you got me excited that this was some new policy at BB.

Price might be the same for that one item, but for every one that's near even, there are a dozen way out of whack.

i'm glad they finally acknowledged the strong canadian dollar
now to wait and see what they have to offer for the upcoming holidays

Very misleading title... change please...

Something like
"Best Buy now has competitive prices to match US prices!"
or something like that....

I thought we could print out an ad from the US and have them match it T.T

Man - you got me excited that this was some new policy at BB.

Price might be the same for that one item, but for every one that's near even, there are a dozen way out of whack.

There are a couple of items, not just the 4661. Ex samsung 5265, sharp 46d64u, sony KDL46V3000

Sorry if the title misled some. Maybe an admin could change the title to (on certain items)

The 1499 price is most likely a misprint. They probably meant to put the 40 inch 4061F (which is $1619 on bestbuy.com, which is the price they're claiming to beat on the flyer).

Lets see if they actually honour it.

Even better would be if you got FS to price match it. It's selling for $2300 there, so you'd get another $80 off, so the TV is $1419.99 + tax.
