Hey guys I just wanted to share my thoughts respecfully, thinking about the rights of self expression.
Now I dont want to offend anyone and If you dont like it, just ignore, that simple.

Lately, Ive remarked that alot of people who are "in touch" with customers or the public in general dont do theyre jobs very well. Ill state some things that Ive personnaly experienced.

I dont know if it only happens to me or what but ive lately started to remark this.

1 -The other day I went to BestBuy. It was a wednessday morning and there was no rush AT ALL. I waited to speak to a guy for about 10 minutes and then he himself asked if I needed some help.
I said yes sir, I do.
He said he'll be with me right after he finishes witht he lady.
So I said ill stay just right there.
But then he statrted talking to someone else and I waited another 5 minutes.
I was still in his vision but he ignored me. Then he went into the back door thing and never came out. Lost like 20 minutes there.Noone else was there.

2 -Then I went to the computer info counter in the corner and asked some help. But the guy didnt had his Login .LOL. He went to see some other guy who was laughing at the phone and didnt helped him.I mean, are you even allowed to talk on a cellphone during a shift? So he went to see the other guy to get me some help but they started a conversation while I was there at the desk. He comes back after lik 5 minutes.

3 -Then lately at Loblaws, the cashier was speaking to the other cashier about when to take a break and arguing about it because they didnt wanted to take at the same time..So she was cashing the stuff so slowly. I dont want them to be super fast but atleast have some respect.

4 -Then the other day at Foot Locker, the guy was standing outside smoking. I entered the store and the the other guy that was int he store just went in tthe back after seeing me. So I got my stuff and waited and he never came out.
Went outside to see the guy who was smoking to cash my stuff. He said he'll be right in when he FINISHES his cigarette. The he started talking to some girl on the street. came after like, 10 mins.

5 -My mother went to the bank the other day to get her broken card replaced. While doing that, I dont know what they did but they like, changed her account. Before she used to press the checking button on the interac and then she had to press saving.
The worst part is , when she went back with me to the branch and explained the situation, some other guy and a girl started laughing at different windows. Like they know about the situation and theyre familiar with it. Like they do that on purpose.

6 -And whenever I go to the bank, like in the branch, to a teller, theres always some girls there who always have to talk to lady/man beside them in the ear, like there talking secretly about me. I dont find that nice. And for some reason I just know that theyre not talking about when to take a break.

7-ALso , at the burgerking near the place where I work, some people in the back are always having fun, discussing stuff and taking all the time in the world to process orders just like the cashiers are having fun while 10 people are waiting in line with only one open cash...Doesnt anybody supervise them. And no, they dont need to have fun at these times because there are times where the resto is empty and theyre just standing there so isnt that a better time to have fun. Like today, I spent my entire break there and there were hardly 3 people that came. So its not that they have to work soooooooo hard.

This is long but at least ive expressed myself. Post some stuff if it happens to you too and if you read all that crap that I wrote.

Best advice i can give is if you plan on buying a big ticket item at futureshop, and are under 25 and not wearing office cloths, bring an older person with you.

When i was 19, i was going to by a laptop computer. Had budgeted $1400 for it. I was strolling up and down the laptop isle for AT LEAST 10 minutes, making eye contact with sales people. Not a single one offered service. It was not particularly busy either. As soon as my dad entered that area(late 40's, just got off his desk job) 1 guy came rushing over to offer him service.

I guess they only go after the sales that they think are sure things, and if they think they can pawn off the extended warranty...

Its stupid crap like that, that makes me avoid futureshop. Yeah, bestbuy is owned by the same company, but since the people dont work on commission, they tend to treat everyone fairly. 10+ minutes for service in the laptop isle at futureshop... less then 2 minutes(on a busy day) to get service in the desktop isle at bestbuy.

I could write a long winded explanation of how to fix these types of problems; but this website says it all and I don't have to type it all out.

PS. You are not alone.....

Sounding a bit paranoid on that one.

I understand what you mean. But it took me like 30 mins to get service. And in the Original post, time wasnt the only prob, they were having fun and stuff. If you read just that besbuy part, you can understand what I mean.
Appreciate your input man. Maybe I should bring in my dad with me to stores for buying items where I need help.

Oh and frank, I thanks a lot for the link. I read that tips section here on this board a couple of days ago.
But my situations are kinda different, where I feel they just dont do theyre jobs very well and make fun of you and ignore you.
