The wal-mart in Square one mississauga, has yardworks 4.5Hp lawnmowers marked down from $189 to $75. Not the greatest mower but for $75 cant go wrong, there was about 7 left.

gasoline powered mowers are a pain in the a$$.. they require so much maintenance, cleaning etc. And of course, they require so much energy to get the motor started. I've had many types of gasoline mowers that died out on me and I've finally found the right mower for me...

my electric lawn mower.. instant startup time with just a flick of a button

My gas-powered mowers is now 10+ years old, and still working fine with basically NO PROBLEM AT ALL. I have NOT done any maintenance, except pouring in some new gas. Yes, it takes a few pull to start the engine, esp. after the long winter. But if you know the right way, even a small lady like my wife can do it with no sweat.

Any review about this specific lawnmower? Just bought a new house with huge land (9000 sq ft) so this may be a good opportunity.

My 2-cycle Lawn-Boy is still running fine after about 25 years of service. No real maintenance to speak of. But it does emit an impressive cloud of blue smoke occassionally. Maybe there was a reason why they banned 2-cycle engines...

Until you realize how much it sucks dragging a cord around with you. Gas mowers, while far from perfect, are about the best option for those with a large yard.

A new air filter, spark plug and oil change each year will keep it running for decades. My parents still have a Toro mower from the early 1970s, starts up at the first pull.

yeah....and you think lugging a cord out of the way is any better? Just as many things can go wrong with an electric too.

Nothing beats a gas powered........especially for large yards.
