Hey guys. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but... I'm trying to find a good credit card with a 0% interest introductory plan. Preferably for at least 12 months.

The reason is my fiance suffers from severe back pain and now its impeding her ability to do well in school. I believe our crappy Ikea mattress is partly to blame so I figure getting a really good mattress could be a good investment for her health and to avoid increasing costs of seeing massage therapists and chiropractors. And because I can't afford the entire cost of a good mattress now I figure why not try to find a low interest credit card to help take care of it.

Can anyone help? Any flaws in my plan? :|

Why don't you try Sleep Country? They have a 0% financing option at no extra cost and they deliver for free. I got a mattress there last year and honestly, I get into bed at night and think "I lovvvve this bed" because it is so comfortable. I bought one of their 'mismatched' Sealy sets (which in fact match) and it came to around $700 incl. tax. So paying just over $100/month for 6 months was easy and painless. I'd highly recommend them.

 There's lots of cards that offer a 0% introductory rate. Go check the personal finance forum.

Two main ones are Citibank (actual 0% rate) and MBNA (it's "0%", but they charge a 1% transfer free...still cheap in comparison to a line of credit or any other method of borrowing for that matter)

I had the citibank one myself for a year. Was exactly as described and I made money on the interest during the process. At the end of it I changed my card into the 1% Citibank Enrich Platinum Mastercard.

Just to be clear, the 1% enrich is cashback rate not interest rate.
Had me excited there for a second.

Looks like MBNA is the only one offering 0% right now...

Another option would be something like Sears' equal payment plans or no interest no payments for xx moths. There's also the Brick, Leons, etc.

That's not true. Citibank also has a 0% card. I just applied for one and there's info on it in the personal finance forum.

Yes, citibank reverts back to 19.9% after the year. But i don't plan on using it after the year's up so I don't really care
