An entire SCSI drive system for sale. Includes:
2 Controller Cards:
PERC 3/DC - Dual channel (7 devices per channel) Ultra160 raid controller. Includes 128 meg upgraded ram. This is hardware raid, no CPU loading. Supports many raid standards including 5 all in hardware. I believe one of the two channels is inoperable, but card still works. Uses server pci standard, but is backwards compatible with the 33mhz PCI you find in desktops, ive used it in desktops.
Adaptec 29160N single channel (7 devices) Ultra160 controller. Very easy to use and set up, adaptec is the best. I would recomend using this unless you want to use raid. Windows includes drivers by default so no fuss.
4 Drives:
74 gig Seagate 10k rpm 10k.6 generation drive. comparable to a raptor basically, slightly faster transfer rates I believe.
2x 36 gig Maxtor Atlas 10k III, great for raid 0. They are stacked in photo so only 1 is visible.
1x 18gig Maxtor 15k rpm drive. Very fast access, great for OS and page file etc. Or photoshop drive etc.
3 Ultra160 cables
a 6 port, a 4 port, and a 2 port, all with terminators.
Many SCA to 68 pin adapters. More than you'll need are included. Just as info: all the drives are SCA (hotswap), and these adapters allow then to be used with these cables and standard molex power, you need them basically.
Selling everything for $125 OBO (was 150), preety cheap considering what you get really. I can part out, but you'll need to tell me what you want and make an offer. I'm quite experienced with the stuff and would love to help you get it set up with advice and directions if you're new to SCSI.
I don't take paypal CC payments. EMT is great. I'm in ottawa for pickup.
