Is there another way to order cheques.I mean besides from a bank.

Yep, there are plenty of third party companies that print cheques..

Here's one:

What's uber cool about 'checks' here in the states at Bank of America, is at certain ABMs, you don't have to even enter in the 'check' amount when depositing, it scans the 'check' and reads the amount for you! It also prints a small copy of the 'check' on your reciept! :D

Since this is RFD, you might want to consider a place like http://www.asap-cheques.com which has much better prices than Davis+Henderson (which is also where your cheques usually come from when you order through the bank.)

I too ordered from asap cheques, though I haven't used any of them as I still have TD's. It only cost me $17 and some odd cents to order 200 cheques. Just make sure it is the Canadian site you are ordering from.

As usual, my answer would be: use LOC cheque.
