Can you buy FutureShop gift cards @ SDM using an SDM gift card?

Is it possible to do the following: ?
Purchase a $50 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift card and earn the 500 shoppers optimum points then go back in later and purchase a $50 gift card for (eg. futureshop) with the Shoppers Drug Mart gift card I purchased earlier and earn the additional 500 optimum points? or better yet, can you use a shoppers drug mart gift cards to purchase other gift cards?

I thought the same thing although have never tried it thinking they would certainly stop the earnings on gift card purchases if they caught on. I mean don't you think they would get a little suspicious, you walk in with a $50 Shoppers Drug Mart gift card and buy 2 $25 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift cards then go to another Shoppers Drug Mart and purchase a $50 Shoppers Drug Mart gift card with the 2 $25.00 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift Cards and continue repeating this process? Easy way to rack up the points with only having to dish out $50.00 LOL but I doubt it would work.

To buy the FS Gift Cards, yes ... to buy another SDM Gift Card, no I do not believe that will work.
That's why you can buy lottery at SDM ... there's a LOTTERY gift card.

No, gift cards, lottery and anything electronically activated at the cash register do not qualify. So the short of it is phone cards, long distance cards, life experiences and gift cards will not qualify.

Regular points = Yes
5/10/20X the points? = No
