Just wondering if anyone has tried to PM the free BR player (Samsung 1400) on a purchase of a 46"+ Samsung LCD or plasma TV with Visions or Best Buy?

Both Visions and Best Buy have the 4661F at $1999ish. It's $300 more at FS.

If so, a 4661F and a free 1400 player for $1999 is almost as good a deal as the 4661F for $1449...since the player is worth up to $600.

my brother pricematched the 4661 at FS yesterday for $1799 (I think it was visions) - he found the deal on RFD.

We tried to make a deal (wanted a HTIB) but had no luck. They offered the BR for 200 (down from 600). We didn't go for it though.

Did get 10 months of HD with Rogers though.

Too bad that you didn't go for the BR for $200....I'm sure that you could have sold it NIB for a bit more.

I just checked a local flyer from Visions....they have the 4661F for $1988 here in BC.
