Hello,

One thing that i have never really allowed myself to do is eat everything in the chicken wing except the bones.

This includes skin + ligaments, those nasty white balls.

SO do you eat the skin?

I don't mind the skin, but I don't eat those ligaments part that you speak of. I lick the bones off clean otherwise, though. Only time when I don't like the skin is when the wing has those hair-like feather remnants on the tips... some places don't remove those properly.

i buy fresh wings and bake(and a lil broil for color) them myself at home so i can cook it to perfection. And i do eat the ligaments cos they are nice and crunchy and cooked all the way through.

If ever have chicken wings outside then i don't eat the crunchy white stuff hehe

I always get made fun of for how I eat wings...Usually one or two bites to get the meat off (skin only if it's crispy) and that's it. No ligaments, veins, or cartilage.

Really, I don't know what the point of wings is...I'd do just as well dipping my fingers in sauce and licking it off...

Ditto

All my friends are always like DUDE THERES HALF THE MEAT THERE STILL, but to me they are done :) Some of my buddies stick the whole wing in their mouth and pull everything off until its just a bare bone... Nasty

pansies! i eat the whole thing except the bones, even the cartilage sometimes (but not always). I dont see why you would order chicken wings and NOT eat the skins, considering that most of the special flavour is ON THE SKIN. if you want to eat all meat, then buy a chicken breasts, wings arent for you. :D

What are you guys talking about, with the "ligament" of the chicken wing?
As for how I eat it, I eat the cartilage first, then I pull out the bones. WHat's left is pure meat, and I eat that in one bite.

For those who don't like ligaments or veins. Why? You can't really taste them..is it more because of the thought of eating veins?

For those of you who don't eat the skin, I guess you must order the sauce on the side?

felixdd that's exactly how i eat them

whats the point of eating wings without skin? might as well go for a larger piece of chicken and eat that without skin.

wings are great because of the high skin/meat ratio. without the skin, you just got expensive regular chicken

I usually eat the skin of chicken wings. However I do realize it's horrible for you, so I don't have wings very often for that reason.

took the words out of my mouth. although some people find wing meat more juicy than breast, but then you could always get them big thighs too.

I eat the skin most of the time, unless its no good.

I know in some countries/cultures people they eat just the fried chicken skin.
I have seen people fry just that with some crispy onions I think....I've tried that before years ago....very bad and greassy for you

I don't like chicken wings thesedays, I find I waste too much with them and just eat the meat part....better for me to just get a reg bbq chicken...

Now for something really fattening I know a store that sells smoked fat...yup they take the fats from the meats they smoke and put that in their smoker...you use it for cooking.....

If eating wings outside, I'll eat the skin.

But at home, we cut off the skin before we season and cook them.
