Went to the Brick (thebrick.com) and searched for HTDDW990. On sale for 328$. Went to BB for a price match and picked up the system.

I bought this system last October during a Futureshop sale for $269.99. It's a good system for my basic needs.

Yeah, I picked up the previous "900" model on boxing day.

It's really quite sophisticated for lower-priced system. Just about everything is programmable... the HDMI switcher works great and passes a full 1080p signal at 60Hz (I'm typing through it on my HomeTheaterPC right now.)

The sound quality is clear and the bass rocks the walls...

What does the "DMPort" do? Is it just another name for iPod port?

I own this.
The only reason I ditched it(to the bedroom) was because I found that the lip-syncing was always off, even with the delay settings activated.
This was with using an LCD projector...so perhaps it may have been better with a plasma or LCD TV.
I replaced it with a Sony STR-DG910 for $399 from London Drugs, and am EXTREMELY happy with that one,as it decodes HDMI audio and solved all my syncing issues.

This is still a great HTIB though.
