Technically file sharing is legal. Copyright infringement is not. But they don't separate between the two on RFD.

There's also a lot of inconsistent policies here. For example, you can't list torrent sites, yet it's acceptable to link to copyright infringing material on Youtube.... go figure.

actually sites could be in canada. since servers are located in the coutnry which may host these types of sites.
