I don't know what to buy, so i figured I'd ask you guys :) I will be overclocking a E2160, so cooling is a good thing, but I'm not liking how the Antec Nine Hundred Looks, My question is do you guys think theres going to be a significant difference in terms of cooling?? between these two..

Thermaltake cases may use high quality materials like Antec, but the assembly/build quality is poor. Never touch that garbage.
Also, consider the P182 from Antec man.

Antec 900 for sure!. I have built around 5 systems with this case and I love it. With the fans on Low its very quiet and airflow is GREAT. I think its one of the best cases for airflow around right now.
I'm running
Intel Quad Core Cpu
ocz 2gb ddr2
Ati x1950 256mb
1x 500gb hdd
sb sound card
Corsair 620 PSU
I'll get you the temps right now from the bios let me just restart & the comp has been on all day and idle for the past 45min or so.
Cpu: 35C
MB: 30C

Yeah I was gonna consider P182 but the price tag is too much for my liking even though its only $25-30 above..

Unless you plan on installing dual 2900XTs or 8800 Ultras, the cooling factor of a case is pretty minor. Better to get a pretty good case like a Sonata 3 which includes a PSU for about the same cost as the 900 for the same price and get a Thermalright Ultra 120.

Isn't the 900 a better build from Antec for hardcore people? The P182 is more about style and less about performance, IMO, despite the great air column.

Cooling is not Minor, if you can afford it its always better to get a good cooling case. Heat kills the parts inside your computer. So for an extra bit of $$ you might as well keep all your parts running cool. Especially your HDD since all your important data is on there. my HDD is running at 29C right now it would be a little lower but I had to place it in a less airflow friendly place for the time being until I buy a Sata HDD.
Also its usually better to buy a separate PSU then the ones that come in cases. Now the psu that comes in some antec cases are still much better then those generic POS but you can always buy something better and you don’t usually want to play with PSU's since they can take out everything in your system.

i personally dont like the looks of the antec 900, looks really ugly to me (imo) so i rather go with the thermaltake armor jr.
but then obviously, if i was to build a comp, i wouldn't use either, id spend a lil more and get p182 or p180
in terms of cooling, there wont really be much difference, its just how much fans u wanna put in to suck in air and blow out air.

got the nine hundred from infonec 2-3 weeks ago (was on sale for 98 bucks plus tax)
Awsome case! teamed up with my corsair 620watt psu wiring was not an issue. Dropped temps like crazy and actually closed the side cover with my thermalright ultra 120
noise is next to none from the fans that come with the case, my video card fan is loud as heck (at start up)

Actually the "Performance One" series of Antec cases are their flagship products. Not the 900. How can a P182 cost more? Because it has more features.
Actually the 900 is more about style and less performance with its 200mm fan above and all the LED "rice". The P182 looks like a standard black box, but has fantastic airflow and features.

In my experience, Antec is far superior to Thermaltake. Go with the Antec. If you don't like how that one looks, there are many other models to choose from.

Since price is a factor for you, consider the new Coolermaster 690 case. That is a very good case for $70.

agreed.
stay away from thermaltake junk
antec 900 sure looks nice, but when it comes to cable management, its a horror.
best bang for buck coolermaster 690, extremely high air flow potential, excellent cable management.
big bugdet, look to antec p182b
any bigger? save money just buy a p182 or if u really wanta go ahead, get a cosmos 1000 ;)
