Is it still around? Last time I went it was serveral years and it was not good so I haven't been back since. Just wondering if anyone has any recent experience - lunch or dinner.
Thanks

Is it still around? Yes it is. Visited RH location last August for lunch. It, in my opinion, is still fighting for the title of #1 with Mandarin in terms of quality and selection, although it is worse than it used to be.

Sunday Brunch is still very good, the dim sum buffet is worth the price alone @ 11.50. The sushi is not very good, then again if you feel like sushi I wouldn't be going there in the 1st place. We frequent the Warden/401 location. I give it a thumbs up for weekend brunch.

The Warden / 401 location is far better than the Richmond Hill location, in my opinion (food-wise as well as layout-wise - getting in and out, and navigating the restaurant). I still consider China Buffet King to be my buffet of choice whenever my wife, son feel like buffet.

Just went to the one on Warden this Sunday. Good value for dim sum buffet. Lots of Har Gow and Shui Mai. The quality is good. The congee was hot. Good value for $11.
For weekday lunch, there now have a 20% discount.

True, their dim sum buffet is very good on weekends. Lotus Leaf rice, har gow, shui mei, steamed spare ribs, bbq pork rice rolls, steamed pork buns...ect.
Another bonus is they serve green tea ice cream for dessert.

Do you guys mean their weekend brunch selection is different from those during the weekdays?

The price for weekdays is roughly $2 less, we only go on weekends so I really cannot say with certainty. I know the Mandarin offers more selection for weekend brunch than they do during weekday lunches and they price it accordingly. I think it's safe to say, China Buffet King does the same.

I have gone to both weekday and weekend. They are the same.
