Hi,
I have been hearing the Druxy's commercials on the radio for so many years now. Each time I hear the slogan "Be Good Today" at the end of the commercial. I can't seem to make the connection. Seems kind of corny to me. Does anyone have any insight on this? I've only had a hot dog at Druxy's years ago - are their sandwiches THAT good?

Druxy is a sorry excuse for a deli place IMO... if you want semi-decent deli in Toronto, the best place to go to is Katz's, Wolfie's or Pancer's. They're no Schwartz's or anything, but they're quite decent and they won't rip you off like Druxy's do.

Better than saying "Be Bad Today". A lot of commercials try to make a connection between the product and some type of feeling that has nothing to do with the product. Personally I think for myself.
I used to go to Druxy's when I worked in downtown Toronto years ago, and I thought they were pretty good. I had never been to a sandwich place and especially one where you pick out all the toppings. It was pretty neat at the time.
