I go to a few different places, but wondering what suggest RFD has? it's those combos that gave you like 3 - 4 dishes, plus rice, plus soup.
I've tried midland and mcnicoll small plaza, market, brimley and huntingwood small plaza.....

McNicoll and Midland plaza is hit and miss, based on my experience. I don't think any of the restaurants there are head-and-shoulders above anyone else. I've taken out from all of them before, and I can honestly say that each restaurant makes some food that is good, but some food that is particularly very bad (taste/flavour/grade of meat, etc.).
For me, I'd suggest Kennedy/Highway 7 Peachtree Plaza, but the prices aren't the cheapest (more $4.50 - $4.99 a dish, compared to the ultra cheap $3.50-$3.99 at some other places). At the Kennedy/7 place, the Tai Wong Kee Cuisine is the better one of the bunch, in my opinion.
First Markham Place at Highway 7 and Woodbine is not bad either. Lots of options there. I highly recommend "Oriental Delight" there - they don't use MSG and have a general better outlook on food preparation than the other places (ie. they simply don't stock certain foods because of ease of spoilage of freshness, where other places will pass it off to the customer).
