to cut to the chase, this is basically for a contract take over with $750 credit (read more to see why i said $1000). still interested? read on!
i was planning to hold an event at the metropolitan hotel before christmas this year, but due to personal reasons i have to cancel. obviously this means penalty charges for myself, so i'd rather give away the credit! so if you are planning to hold a dinner party for yourself or a company, this is a way to save a bit!
details of the contract originally was a dinner for at least $16,000 (so about 17-20 tables). choice of cuisine served at the hotel can be chinese or western style.
to add more incentive to the pot i will put down $250 myself to make it a full $1000 credit.
to answer some common questions:
Q: when would the event be held?
A: anytime you want before end of this year (dec 31, 2007), but availability must be confirmed by hotel. so it can be a new year's eve party!
Q: are menu selections/events already set?
A: no. the person who takes over can choose whatever they want.
Q: how do i get this contract?
A: we will set up a time to meet with the catering manager at the hotel to sign in person. this way you are informed directly by the hotel! i will hand over the $250 cash at the time as well.

Q: is there a catch, hidden fees etc?
A: no. the hotel catering manager will clarify any questions you have. all you get is a contract, the $1000 credit and freedom to plan your event.
